Read below for more information.

Hip-Hop is much more than a sequence of movements – it’s a feeling, an attitude, and best of all a form of self-expression. As such, this workshop is more than just learning the steps of choreography. “Hip-Hop on Broadway” strives to create a comfortable, high energy, and judgement-free environment while exploring the world of dance.
From 10:00am-1:00pm, students ages 8-12 will learn to apply self-expression through movement, storytelling, muscular and strength development, partner work, improv games, free-styling, and creating choreography. Let confidence grow, understand the feeling behind the movement, while discover how to combine theatrical skills to bring Hip-Hop to life in musicals like “Hamilton”, “13”, “SpongeBob the Musical”, “The Greatest Showman”, “In The Heights”, “Descendants”, and more! First time dancers are encouraged to attend!
Please provide closed toed shoes, a water bottle, and lunch. Class materials and a light snack will be provided. A small showcase will be performed on the last day of the workshop.
