Sheet Music and Sight Reading
Teens and Adults interested in improving their musical skills are invited to join Amanda Trusty in this new series focusing on core elements of music theory!
This series will cover elements of music theory in a non-judgemental and supportive environment!
Students will leave this series with an understanding of music theory and sight-reading through developing an understanding of music notation, rhythms, and time signatures. The series will also focus on the vital tools for performing in a chorus and/or musical production like harmonizing, interval training, and taking care of your vocal muscles. If this paragraph was full of words you didn’t understand, then this may be the right class for you!
Students are asked to bring a pencil and water bottle. Though this is a music-focused class, we ask that all participants wear closed-toe shoes for their safety. If you are unsure if this class is a healthy fit for you, please email us directly.
This series will require a minimum registration of 8 students. If this series does not meet the minimum 24 hours before the first class date, it will be either postponed or canceled.
