The CREATE program invites you to join us for a special evening of crafting drinks- with a shot of education!

Curtains & Cocktails is a new virtual adult series featuring an hour of cocktail or mocktail making and talking story with various performing arts guests about their background, experience, and other fun subjects!

The first night of the series, October 3, will give folks a chance to get to know the Aloha Theatre’s new Artistic Director, Courtney Booth! Courtney will guide participants through making her favorite beverage, a Tom Collins, while talking all things directing.
Enjoy Courtney’s signature cocktail or mocktail by following along during the segment, or choose your favorite beverage to sip back and relax with. Either way, we’ll save you a seat!

Join us for Curtains & Cocktails on Saturday, October 3, from 5:00pm-6:00pm HST on Zoom.

This series is strongly recommended for adults ages 21+. A Zoom link will be sent 24hrs before the session. A “recipe” will be shared via social media and Aloha Theatre’s website, and will be included in a reminder email with Zoom information. At this time, participants are required to provide their own supplies. This series is free to register, and supported through donations from participants like you!

Cocktail ingredients are only recommended for ages 21+. Even if you’re enjoying this series from home, we encourage you to please drink responsibly.

About the Guest
Courtney graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelors degree and a focus in acting and directing and holds a certification in theatre arts instruction. After graduating, she worked as both an actor and director for regional theatres across the states. She has explored other roles in theatre including Education Director and Theatre Operations Manager. More recently, Courtney has been performing, teaching, and directing in community theatres on Oahu. She joins us today as the Artistic Director for the Aloha Theatre.
