A new world… of Boot Camp is back for your musical audition training!

Aloha Theatre is requesting video auditions for their musical production of Songs for a New World to be submitted by December 11. We want to support your audition experience, confidence, and preparation by offering an Audition Boot Camp on Saturday, December 5 at 10:00am HST!

This round of Boot Camp will provide interested auditioners an opportunity to workshop their audition selection with Artistic Director Courtney Booth and Vocal Guest Instructor Delaney Yuko Ross. Participants will sing their selection, gain feedback from the director’s casting perspective, vocal support, and better understand how to prepare a video audition you’ll be proud to submit! They’ll also get in “audition shape” through better understanding the show’s story, production expectations, and testing what it would be like to work on this production together if cast.

All participants are required to bring a song selection no longer than 32 bars/1 minute to workshop, and to have reviewed all audition information on the Aloha Theatre’s website. To access the Songs for a New World audition information, click here.

Ages 17+. Participants of all abilities, backgrounds, and experiences are encouraged to attend this workshop. This Audition Boot Camp will be held via Zoom. A link will be shared to all registered participants the day before Boot Camp. There are no “observing” positions in this workshop.
