Say “yes, and…” to developing improv comedy skills!

Join improv leader Quinton Loder for the return of improvisational theatre courses–

In this 1st of a 5-level series, “Level 1” adults will look under the hood of the wondrous and entertaining world of improv theatre. New and returning participants will (re)explore how to build entertaining scenes that provide a sense of accomplishment. This series will also (re)connect improv-interested adults with others in a socially-distant setting, (re)discover the power of “yes, and…”, and (re)boost a variety of personal skills including empathy, listening, thinking on the spot, public speaking, and more!

This series is for ages 18+, and adults of all abilities, backgrounds, and experience are encouraged to attend. Level 1 will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sundays: May 16, May 22, June 6, June 13, June 20, and June 27.

About the Teaching Artist
Quinton joined the Hawaii performing arts scene after studying and performing short and long form improv for the last 24 years around the USA. He found a wealth of theater talent within the Aloha Theatre and the Big Island Improv Jam, and became both anxious and excited to share his knowledge to expand others’ abilities! He approaches performing and coaching improv with emphasis on support and honesty, and can’t wait to get to know you through “yes, and…”!
