Intro to Improv
Join improv extraordinaire Quinton Loder on Sunday, December 5 from 3:00pm - 6:00pm, as he shows you the how-tos of improv!
Back by popular demand, this workshop is perfect for adults with zero experience looking to build confidence and test the waters of improv.
Using a blend of short and long form improv, this workshop focuses on building strong, sustainable, scenes to paint a realistic picture for realistic scene work! Participants will learn to trust their instincts and fellow performers, what “being in the moment” actually means, create a story without a script, make strong choices through actions, and what to do with “yes, and…” .
Ages 18+. Closed-toe shoes MUST be worn, and students are asked to bring a water bottle. Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. At this time all adult students are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Please e-mail proof of vaccination to sara@alohatheatre.com after you register.
